r markdown - Error when rendering blog using distill package in R

Question

I am trying to follow the steps in: https://themockup.blog/posts/2020-08-01-building-a-blog-with-distill/ , but I have error message saying R code execution error.

Please advise on how to resolve. I am using distill version 1.1, RStudio Version 1.3.1093, R 4.0.3
