javascript - Why can you spread require inside module.exports?

Question

Context: This is in a file called 'handlers.js' requiring two files in the same folder, they are both controller files.

Question: I've used the spread operator on arrays and objects to spread object key/value pairs, but I've never seen require statements spread. I didn't think it was possible can you spread anything inside an object or it just a module.exports thing?

Handlers.js

module.exports = {
  ...require('./auth'),
  ...require('./poll'),
};
